NYC DOT Looking for Artists

Calling all artists! The NYC Department of Transportation has two open calls out right now for artists to help enliven our city’s public infrastructure:

Barrier Beautification
Commissions artists and designers to produce murals for concrete barriers that typically separate bicycle lanes from traffic
Deadline: February 24, 2012

pARTners
Commissions artists to produce site-responsive art in collaboration with community-based organizations
Deadline: March 9, 2012
