Design Trust for Public Space

FELLOWSHIPS

After the Design Trust selects a project, we work with our partners to determine what private-sector expertise is required for the project. We then award fellowships to the qualified professionals. This page includes a complete list of our current and past fellowship recipients.

The Fellowship Award

Design Trust fellows are offered a lead role on projects designed to have a real impact on New York City. Past fellowship stipends have averaged between $5,000 to $15,000 and, in most cases, an opportunity to publish project findings.

Applying for a Fellowship

There is no standing application procedure, as each year's fellows are based on the specific needs of the selected projects. Once the scope of each project is determined, we will post an open call for fellows.
