The Brooklyn Public Library Design Guidelines were created to assist architectural and engineering consultants engaged in new construction, renovation, or preservation work for the Brooklyn Public Library system.  The goal of the Design Guidelines to promote good design at Brooklyn’s branch libraries, with specific attention to the design requirements of the historic Carnegie branch libraries.
